Two Ocean Athletes

During the Easter weekend of the recent school holidays, four people representing Global Challenge Expeditions and Global Leadership Academy went to Cape Town to take part in the annual Two Oceans Marathon. In a field of more than 11 000 athletes in the 21.1km race, Clara du Plessis, Hattingh Bornman and Mariana Bornman participated and completed the difficult race course in less than 2 hours.

Clara and Hattingh finished in a time of 1h50min and Mariana close behind with 1h57min. Paul du Plessis, a teacher at Global Leadership Academy, competed in the ultra-marathon which covers 56km. He finished in 5h21min. Congratulations!
