Global Leadership Academy is a low fee independent school operating as a registered non-profit.
The school is managed by Directors who also serve on the Governing Body.

To ensure we continuously provide affordable access to quality education, the Directors have structured a funding model where all future development, such as sports fields and other facilities fall outside the below mentioned funding streams.

Individual fundraising initiatives will thus be launched for specific development projects as they arise.

To successfully operate the school we have adopted the following funding model:

81% School fees
10.6% External, private sponsorships and fundraisers
8.4% Subsidy from Department of Education

We therefore place a very high premium on the timely payment of school fees by parents.

Policy

School Fees

School fees must be paid either:

Monthly in advance, before or on the first day of each month, or
Annual in advance, before 11 February. (2.5% Discount when doing so)
A once-off, application fee of R700.00 (Refundable only if not accepted)

School fees for 2021 amount to R1950.00 per month over a period of 12 months.

For 2022 the school fees will be adjusted with 4% to R2 030.00 per month.

Fee Payments
Please clearly indicate the students name as a reference. It is also essential that the Bursar is notified of any bank deposit made, either by telephone or email.
